What is Grounded 1002?
Grounded 1002 is a new lifestyle brand for busy professionals that could do with a helping hand when it comes to looking after their mental and physical health. Heavily inspired by teachings of early civilisations around the world, Grounded 1002 will curate a thoughtful product range to help people check in with themselves. Grounded 1002 aims to provide ancient knowledge explained with today’s insights as food for thought, to enhance the lives of its customers and community. Founder Neeta Sharma’s mantra for her customers is “Take what you want and leave the rest”. This is not a brand to force its ideals on others – it’s simply a lifestyle brand that aims to inform, inspire and support its customers, to get curious and experiment.

Having had its launch party on October 2nd in Notting Hill, guests walked out with care packages with Grounded 1002 products after a night of Vinyl music and good conversation. A luxurious lifestyle brand, it aims to serve busy professionals with trusted advice and inspiration. Grounded 1002 launches its website on October 20th under the full moon spotlight.
Through a series of high quality, selective product launches, music playlists and events, Neeta hopes to inspire customers to grow a greater appreciation of magical practices that were discovered thousands of years ago, based purely on intuition. Every product will be carefully curated or created for its multiple benefits and will include insightful information including the history, properties and benefits.

First product launch
The brand’s first product, the Rock with Care stone – an ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) tool used for a technique called gua sha, will be available to buy from October 20th, 2021 (for now, only in the UK). Rock with Care is a tool designed for use on the entire body. It can benefit our health by reducing chronic pain, inflammation and eliminate toxins through the lymphatic system (our internal waste disposal system). Rock with Care is made of Bian stone (from Shandong in China) – a combination of meteorite and volcanic materials, giving it a very high frequency.
In 2013 after a traumatic accident which resulted in a broken face, the founder was introduced to gua sha to help relax seized muscles, realign her jaw and for stress relief. As a new mom five years later, the tool was once again came to her aid, this time to help overcome a health condition that was misdiagnosed after giving birth to her soon.. Since then gua sha has been part of her routine when it makes sense – pre-workout, pre-shower or at her desk to help with posture.
What’s in a name?
The name Grounded 1002 is a combination of a word that clearly sets out what the brand is all about – supporting its customers to feel more ’grounded’ and the 1002 is the birthday the founder shares with inspirational people from Mahatma Gandhi to Sting to Donna Karen to Graham Greene (and many more!).
About the founder
Founder Neeta Sharma is originally from Toronto and currently lives in London with her husband and young son. She has worked with some of the world’s largest financial institutions such as Boston Consulting Group (BCG), as well as several tech start-ups. Her journey with Grounded 1002 stems from periods of burnout and trauma, that led to her on-
going interest in how to overcome challenging times through age-old practices.
Ultimately, Grounded 1002 is here to help people become the best version of themselves – at home, at work and in their everyday life.
