Klueless Magazine meets Jenn Seren, qualified Make Up Artist and one of the content creators of popular beauty brand SHRINE.
«I started doing makeup a long time ago – doing it very badly I should add! Having been creative and arty all my life, it made sense to have a go at it at the age of fifteen. And by the time my prom came around, I did all my friends makeup on the day (and I’d like to apologise to them for how that turned out looking back at it)!

Since then, I studied makeup for two years, assisted lots of artists, and threw myself at any opportunity offered to me, to practice on new faces. And I truly believe practice is the key to improving and mastering your makeup skills.

Recently, I’ve been inspired by artists like Gabrielle Alexis (@gabxxrielle), Mei Pang (@meicrosoft) and Han Elizabeth (@hanelixabethmakeup) to name just a few! The way that being stuck at home during this time has brought so much imagination and creativity out of them, has really given me a drive to produce art like they are.

Although being a self employed makeup artist was always the dream, quarantine has shown me a passion for creating content and imagery on my own face, which I never before knew I would enjoy so much. It’s difficult to say what exactly I’d like to do within the industry in the future, but I’m excited about all the new options I’m discovering I have.»
