NEW FLAGSHIP STORE FOR A NEW SEBAGO
The iconic firm opens a new space in Barcelona with a renewed image.
SEBAGO, the mythical firm from Maine (USA), has inaugurated a new space in the city of Barcelona that represents its flagship in Spain. Located on Provença street, very close to Paseo de Gracia, the 200 m² store is presented with a new image that reflects the renewal in the collections for men and women. In addition to the unmistakable footwear for which the brand is revered, Sebago® presents a collection of men’s clothing inspired by the brand’s own seafaring roots. All the decoration of the space breathes the American and nautical Sebago® character, with a very clean look and furniture with carbon fiber details that are inspired by the botabara of sailing boats.
Famous for its handmade pieces that are durable, elegant and timeless at the same time as contemporary, Sebago® offers its flagship Docksides® collections, including the most edgy models of its mythical nautical; Campsides, the new outdoor line with models thought and designed for the outdoors that perfectly adapt to the urban; Citysides with the brand’s classics that have already become a reference and style icon.
At a time when classic is trendy again, all eyes are on the iconic Sebago® models. After many seasons of the reign of sneakers, the trend smiles again at the classics: pieces that have remained in time for a reason, legends that come back renewed for an audience that finds in them a cool alternative to the ubiquitous sneakers.
Sebago® boat shoes and moccasins have been reinterpreted for brands as contemporary as the British Universal Works and prestigious retailers such as One Block Down, in Milan – with whom he developed an exclusive limited series that underlines the style of the Ivy League and its influence on fashion – or the two capsules that he has designed together with Mini, in Madrid, which have become an object of desire.
The new store in Barcelona, located at 253 calle Provença, replaces the one that Sebago® had on that same street and, due to its size, represents the first flagship of the firm worldwide.
