Tasman Keith – one of Australia’s hottest rising artists – drops his latest track “LOVE TOO SOON”, and officially announces the July 7th release of his highly-anticipated debut album, A Colour Undone, out via AWAL.
Following the G-funk, lyrical spar of «5FT FREESTYLE«, “LOVE TOO SOON” arrives with a music video directed and choreographed by Claudia Sangiorgi Dallimore (Thelma Plum, Mo’Ju), shot in its entirety in one take. Without closing the door on the visceral raps that brought him to public attention, “LOVE TOO SOON” marks the arrival of Tasman Keith the artist, a transformation that welcomes his inevitable arena-ready stardom.

Recently signing a huge deal with Sony Publishing Australia that puts him into the same stable as Little Simz, Genesis Owusu and Frank Ocean, Tasman’s grounding as one of Australia’s finest homegrown rap talents has seen him earn his stripes coming up from one of the continent’s toughest Aboriginal estates.
Representing the first wave of a thrilling new generation of First Nations Australian artists, the young star’s trajectory from breakout rap name to what’s seen on “LOVE TOO SOON”, a polished, sizzling R&B gem, sets the tone for the spectrum of sounds that make up his upcoming debut album.
Already capturing heavyweight attention across NME, Rolling Stone and Noisey, Tasman’s blend of rap, R&B and new wave funk energy will bring easy comparisons to the likes of Anderson, Paak or Cordae, but what the artist represents in real terms is nothing less than a cultural revolution, the long-awaited breakthrough of First Nations Australian artists to the forefront of what was previously an exclusively white Australian scene.
